| Your Awareness of Karma will help you create the life you desire. |
The Sanskrit word “karma” means, literally, “law of cause and effect”.
Any act, be it good or bad, will have consequences. If we do good, the consequences will be good to us, however if we behave badly the consequences will be harmful. There is no effect without a cause, nor cause without effect. In other words, you will reap what you sow. |
| Karma is a Hindu and Buddhist term that discribes how your attitudes and actions shape your life. When you are Aware of Karma, you are Aware that you create your life as consequences of your attitudes and actions. |
| Paraphrasing an old Irish proverb, "Pray for potatoes, then plant the seeds and work the soil." Praying to achieve your Potentials may help, but you also have to do the work. |
| Your Awareness that your actions and attitudes will shape your Fate is the first step to achieveing your Potentials. Becoming Aware that you create your Destiny through your Karma will help you to maintain a Right Attitude. |
| In the image at the right, the figure in the lower left is pleading with an Angel for deliverance into heaven. The Angel is announcing the fact of Karma. By the individual's own attitudes and actions, they will shape their destiny and their chance for heaven. |
When our actions are weighed in a scale, if there are more good actions the scale is lighter, and it produces
Dharma, which is a reward for the good actions we performed.
On the other hand, if the bad actions are heavier it gives us a Karma, that is, the experience the consequences of our actions. |
