| Knowing by memory an Enhancement that improves upon the Means is essential before you can progress thru the higher Elements of a Phase. When you Know by memory an Enhancement, the Enhancement has a better chance to be part of your Spirit, rather than just an idea. |

| The suggestion to progress thru Degree #18, is to focus on your Knowing by memory the 12 Enhancements to achieve a Potential. |
For this introduction, we'll focus on strengthening your Knowing the Enhancements to achieve the Foundation and all of the 12 Potentials of a progressing Ego.
From memory, write the Means to achieve the Foundation and Potentials 1 thru 12. You can refer back to the 12 Enhancements to achieve the Potentials of Ego, but to complete the 11th Degree, you must be able to write the Means from memory. |
| Without having committed the Potentials of Ego to memory, you will be Aware of the Potentials, but you will not truly Know them. The Knowledge of the Potentials will not be a part of you spirit and your progress will be slow. |
